Williams Island Outdoors
Williams Island offers residents plenty of opportunities to bask in the great South Florida outdoors with the Tennis Club, Island Club pool, and each building's private pool. But, there are even more ways to play outside on our Island
Take the Island Walk
It's common to see residents strolling or jogging along the perimeter of the Island each morning or early evening. The Island Walk guides them around the entire Island, along the picturesque seawall, through the lush Island grounds and down around the enticing Marina. Anyone out in the fresh air is bound to run into fellow residents taking in the sights or one of the Marina's friendly staff hard at work.
Fun for Our "Smaller" Residents
It's not just the grown-ups who have all the fun at Williams Island. Kids do, too! The Kid's Playground is located in front of the 4000 Building and offers a safe, fun place for children to play. Kids can frolic on the multi-leveled play equipment or just enjoy the swing sets with their neighbors. A beautiful aerodynamic sun shade covers the playground so children and those accompanying them are kept cool and comfortable.
Going to the Dogs
Williams Island provides an outdoor space where furry residents can get their exercise. Situated behind the 2600 Building, Doggie Hill is the spot for dogs to romp around with their four-legged neighbors. This fenced in area allows dogs to play off leash. The Island's mandatory leash rule, ensuring a safe environment were residents and their dogs can interact in the great outdoors, is in effect once the dogs exit the dog park. |
