Security at Williams Island is a 24/7 operation. Each building has its own officer who mans the front desk, screens visitors and conducts roving patrols around the grounds. Officers also are on duty, monitoring vehicular and pedestrian traffic at each entrance and exit gate on the Island. Every vehicle entering the Island is required to provide officers with valid identification before any access is granted.

All Building Officers are trained in First Aid, CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and licensed by the state to perform security duties. At Williams Island, security and privacy are taken very seriously and a proficient, professional staff is on duty around the clock to preserve the Island's tranquility and keep residents secure.

From 24-hour valet to a concierge dedicated to making sure all residents' needs are met, Williams Island provides all the services necessary to ensure Islanders can spend time soaking in the good life.

Resident Guest Access
By clicking on the RESIDENT GUEST ACCESS link, you can immediately notify the gates of an expected day-visitor. You will also be able to delete permanent visitors, or place a note on a visitor's entry, i.e. "call upon arrival".

Resident Access via SmartPhone

Residents who currently have a Smartphone (i.e. iPhone, Android, BlackBerry) can now download a FREE App for ABDI, the Williams Island Access Control Program. When using this FREE App, you can enter day-visitors, review your permanent guest list and check your history of entries. The next time you click on the RESIDENT GUEST ACCESS scroll to the bottom of the GateAccess.net home page and you will find the links for iTunes, Android Market and the BlackBerry Store.

In addition to our website, you can also notify the gates of a visitor by calling the voicemail system at (305) 466-4707 or (305) 466-4708. If you do not have your Resident Access Code, you can contact either your building's safety desk or the Safety Department Main Office at (305) 937-7856.
